About STRIMA

STRIMA is an association that represents audiovisual content streaming services operating in Brazil, bringing together Disney+, Globoplay, Max, Netflix and Prime Video.

In a scenario of growing supply and consumption of audiovisual works via the internet in Brazil, STRIMA was created with the purpose of strengthening the audiovisual industry in Brazil, ensuring investment and improvement of the sector. In this sense, STRIMA's mission is to promote institutional, open, and constructive dialogue with the various audiovisual stakeholders and the Brazilian Public Authorities, with the aim of contributing to public policies that stimulate the growth and development of the audiovisual sector in the country and its workers, and that ensure the provision of varied works with production value to the Brazilian public.

To be recognized as an entity that actively contributes to public policies that stimulate the growth and development of the audiovisual sector in Brazil, ensuring an increasing availability of diverse works with production value for the Brazilian audience.

Leadership

Luizio Felipe Rocha

Executive Director

Luizio is a lawyer with experience in the Brazilian political and regulatory landscape, consolidating his career at the intersection between government and the private sector. A specialist in institutional and governmental relations, he has participated in essential discussions that shaped public policies impacting the media, entertainment, and technology sectors.

Currently, as Executive Director of STRIMA, Luizio Rocha leads the association that brings together Disney+, Globoplay, Max, Netflix, and Prime Video in Brazil. His work is centered on institutional dialogue with various audiovisual stakeholders and the Brazilian Public Authorities, seeking to enable public policies that promote the growth of the audiovisual sector in the country.

Before taking leadership of STRIMA, Luizio accumulated experience in governmental affairs and institutional relations. His career includes work in the private sector as a consultant for audiovisual and technology companies, advising them on legislative and regulatory strategies.

Luizio holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Georgetown University, an MBA in Government Relations from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and a Bachelor of Laws from Instituição Toledo de Ensino (ITE).
